Questions
Is there a subscription?
No. The app is free to download and includes 3 report exports. Unlimited exports is a one-time in-app purchase.
Can I call them something other than jobs and items?
Yes. Both levels are renamable in Settings, so if your trade says snags, findings or issues, the app says that too.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Capture, organize and export all run on the device. Nothing needs a connection except sharing the finished PDF.
Can I brand the report?
Enter your name, business name, address, email and phone once, and every report is headed with them - on the cover and as a band across the content pages. Logo upload is on the list, not shipped.
Where do my photos go?
They stay on your device. iCloud sync is on by default, which moves them through your own Apple account at no cost. There is no Walkdown server holding your job photos, because there is no Walkdown server.
Does it stamp GPS onto the photos?
Not yet. Location and bearing overlays burned into the image are on the roadmap. Today the report carries your captions, the item, the job and the date.
Which devices does it run on?
iPhone, iPad and Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later), all from the one purchase. Requires iOS 26, iPadOS 26 or macOS 26. Shoot the job on your phone, spread the issues out on an iPad, export the report on a Mac.
